  • Common Interest
    • Agribusiness
      • Promotes student interest in agriculture and provides opportunities to use animal science skills. Assists in supporting and helping to improve the livestock judging teams of the college.

    • Bass Fishing Club
      • Promotes the sport of bass fishing by having scrimmage tournaments and the possibility to compete against other schools all while making new friends.

    • Campus Activities Board (CAB)
      • Plans well-organized activities, events and programs, providing a fun, educational, cultural, diverse, engaging and entertaining experience.

    • CRU
      • Helps spread the gospel of Jesus Christ to all nations in an interdenominational ministry community, cooperating with millions of people from churches of many denominations and hundreds of other Christian organizations around the world.

    • CHI ALPHA Christian Fellowship
      • Provides students with a way to better know God through biblical training, fellowship, and activities.

      • Fosters the ideals of the Democratic Party and encourages students to actively participate in the political process by which our nation is governed.

    • Horticulture Club
      • Promotes the profession of horticulture and encourages learning through experience. Provides opportunities for interaction among club members, other students, educators, and professional horticulturists.

      • Provides an understanding of foreign cultures, as well as creating life lasting friendships among fellow students.

    • Phi Beta Lambda Business Organization (PBL)
      • Phi Beta Lambda (PBL) is for students interested in business skills and leadership. As part of PBL nationwide, our chapter participates in state and national competitions, offers scholarships, and attends leadership conferences. PBL isn’t just another student group – it gives members that opportunity to learn, travel, and grow as a business professional. Employers are looking for students with cutting-edge skills. PBL gives members the chance to gain these skills and prepares them for the “real-world” after college. Set yourself apart from the average graduate!

    • Rotaract
      • Rotaract is Rotary for young adults. Rotary International, with 1.2 million members worldwide, is the parent organization to Rotaract. Both organizations put “Service Above Self,” both locally, through service projects in our area, and internationally, supporting clean water, literacy, and the eradication of polio throughout the world. As part of Rotary, Rotaractors also have the opportunity to network and socialize with members and clubs throughout the world. Our club also works locally with students from Methodist College, Midstate College, and UIS-Peoria.

      • Seeks to make students and the general public more environmentally aware.

    • Student Government Association (SGA)
      • As the elected voice of the student body, the SGA promises to provide its strong leadership to all students and campus organizations in a united effort to create an environment where effective communication is the key to campus wide awareness of all student activities and concerns making it the cornerstone for the best possible college experience.

    • Understanding Individuality Through Education (UNITE)
      • The Purpose of UNITE is to provide a safe social atmosphere for the gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, questioning, and allied (GLBTQA) people of Illinois Central College and the community incorporating nondiscrimination primarily on the basis of sexual orientation, but also race, color, religion, sex, gender identity, national origin, ancestry, age, marital status, disability, and military or veteran status.

    • EMS Club
      • The purpose of this organization shall be to give members who have a vested interest in EMS (Emergency Medical Services) an opportunity to further expand their potential roles in healthcare. Members will be able to attend activities such as EMS/Fire Conventions, research EMS articles, and view firsthand how EMS plays a role in today’s medical system.

    • Student American Dental Hygienists Association (SADHA)
      • Designed to cultivate, promote, and sustain the art and science of dental hygiene, to represent and safeguard the common interest of members of the profession, and to contribute toward the improvement of the health of the public.

    • Student Nursing at Illinois Central College (SNICC)
      • The Purpose of SNICC is to develop and implement opportunity for the 4 Hallmarks of Leadership, Scholarships, Service and Fellowship. These initiatives will be represented in the activities which SNICC will advertise, lead and support by lunch and learns, fundraising, community service projects, meetings , mentoring and being involved oi the community.

    • Student Occupational Therapy Association (SOTA)
      • Promotes interest in occupational therapy. Provides communication and interaction with other students and professionals at state and national levels through involvement in the American Student Committee of the Occupational Therapy Association (ASCOTA).

  • Honor Societies
    • Alpha Delta Nu Nursing Honor Society
      • The purpose of this organization shall be to recognize the academic excellence of students in the study of nursing. Students in the RN or LPN to RN Completion Program with a GPA of 3.0 or higher must complete a leadership project and then may accept induction into the IOADN.

    • Phi Theta Kappa (PTK)
      • Phi Theta Kappa is the only internationally recognized scholastic honor society for community and junior college students. Membership is by invitation only and is based on scholarship, leadership, fellowship and service. Special transfer scholarships to four-year colleges and universities are available through Phi Theta Kappa.

    • Sigma Kappa Delta
      • Sigma Kappa Delta is an English Honor Society whose purpose is educational, literary and charitable. The society strives to recognize high achievement in English language and literature in two-year institutions of higher education; promote interest in literature and English language in the surrounding communities; and develop community among its members. The official motto of Sigma Kappa Delta uses the initials of and its ideals: Sincerity, Knowledge, Design.

      • SkillsUSA is a national organization serving 250,000 secondary and post-secondary students preparing for technology, trade, industrial and health occupations. The SkillsUSA Chapter at ICC will complement ICC training programs, including Graphic Arts and Diesel Powered Equipment Technology.
