Philharmonic Chorale, In Residence at Illinois Central College, Hosts Open Rehearsals in January
The Philharmonic Chorale, in residence at Illinois Central College, will host open rehearsals during the month of January on Tuesday nights from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm in Room 121A of the Academic Building, located on the East Peoria campus of ICC.
Singers who are high school graduates or older are welcome to join the Philharmonic Chorale. The purpose of the group is to perform, promote and encourage choral music. The Philharmonic Chorale has been in existence since 1925.
The spring concert of the Philharmonic Chorale’s 93rd season is scheduled for Sunday, May 6 at 2:30 pm in the ICC Performing Arts Center. Tickets cost $12 for the general public, $10 for students and senior citizens.
The Philharmonic Chorale is supported as an in residence ensemble by the Arts at ICC, which has a rich history of enhancing the arts community and expanding education beyond the classroom. Arts at ICC presents more than 500 exhibits, performances, lectures, rehearsals, meetings, master classes, clinics, seminars, receptions, orientations, forums, auditions and tournaments annually.
