Student Technology Resources

ICC students will be able to begin using ICC student technology resources after completing an ICC application and before enrolling in classes. More technology resources will be available after enrolling in classes.

eServices, email, and Google Apps access are available soon after you apply to ICC. Once you are enrolled in classes, you will have access to Blackboard, online library resources, and computers on campus.

Default Password

Learn Your Default Password

Enter the default password, ICC plus the last five digits of your social security number (for example ICC12345) when logging in to student email, Blackboard, online library resources (from off campus), and on-campus computers. You will be required to change your password upon first login to your student email. See email message for eServices password.

For password assistance contact the Help Desk at helpdesk@icc.edu or call webmail.lab.icc.edu and enter your email address and password.

If this is your first time logging in to email, enter your default password.

Your ICC email is a Gmail account. Download the Gmail app from the App Store or Google Play

While logged in to your student email account, locate links to other Google applications. These allow you to do things like create documents and save files online.

eServices

Login to eSERVICES; Check Your Contact Information

Register for classes, check due dates, pay online, view your schedule and grades.

Go to my.icc.edu and enter your username and eServices password you received in your email account.

Once logged in to your eServices account, click the Main Menu option (upper-left corner), and select My System Profile. On the General Profile Information screen, there is a Change Password option, as well as an option to setup password help, where you will be prompted to select a security question and provide a response. Passwords are required to be at least eight characters long and contain a minimum of one number, one special character, one lowercase, and one uppercase letter.

MyICC Mobile (a mobile version of eServices) is available in app stores and on the web at mymobile.icc.edu. Download from the App Store. Get it on Google Play

For best experience, use Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome to access eServices.
For password assistance contact the Help Desk at helpdesk@icc.edu or call courses.icc.edu and enter your username and password.

If this is your first time logging in to Blackboard, enter your default password.

Download the Blackboard app from the App Store or Google Play.
Blackboard's full capabilities are available only in the browser version, not the app.

Manage Alert Message Preferences

MyAlert provides alert and emergency messaging through email, voice, and text messaging.

Go to icc.edu/MyAlert and follow the instructions to manage your alerts.

This will require you to access your ICC email account.

Login to an ICC Computer

Logging on to an ICC computer gives you access to the Internet, software, and printers on campus.

If you are on an ICC campus, log in to a computer in a library, lab, or other public computing area.

If this is your first time logging in to an ICC computer, enter your default password. Be sure to log off!

Microsoft Office

ICC students and faculty are eligible to download Office 365 for free on up to five devices. This includes Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Outlook, Publisher, and Access. Visit Get Office 365 on the Microsoft site to learn more about this program and what’s included, as well as several frequently asked questions.

Wifi on Campus

ICC provides free wifi on all campuses. Wifi users must accept the terms of wifi usage when accessing the network. While on campus, open an internet browser and follow the instructions for access.

Smart Printing for Students

Each ICC student is given 300 pages or $15.00 credit for printing Fall and Spring semesters, 200 pages or $10.00 for Summer semester and 150 pages or $7.50 for a Minimester. Additional pages can be purchased through Student Services at $.05 per page in increments of 50 pages.  Printing accounts are reset each semester; balances will NOT roll-over to the next semester. Color printing is available in the library on the East Peoria Campus.

Smart printing limits print requests to:
10 pages in libraries
20 pages in support labs
24 pages in computer classrooms
