College For Kids
College for Kids is an enrichment program for students going into 4th grade through 9th grade. Classes are designed to stimulate creativity, promote curiosity, and encourage engagement. All sessions will be held online during the academic year. Check out our course offerings through our catalog or like us on Facebook to get all of our updates.

Summer 2021 CFK Registration is open
Session I:
- June 7 – June 17 (Monday to Thursday)
Deadline to register is May 31
Session II: (ICC is closed on Mon, July 5)
- July 6 – July 9 (Tuesday to Friday)
- July 12 – July 15 (Monday to Thursday)
Deadline to register is June 28
All Classes are online.
Daily Schedule
- Class 1: 9:00 am – 10:00 am
- Class 2: 11:00 am – 12:00 pm
- Class 3: 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm
Refund will not be issued after the registration deadline dates. Class registration will be closed after the deadline for each session.
Students will join the instructor in live video chat sessions at scheduled times. Students will need a computer with Internet access, webcam, and microphone to join the Zoom meeting during the class. Zoom meeting information will be sent via email before the class starts.

Please provide a valid email when registering. A confirmation receipt will be emailed when your registration has been processed and full payment is received. Your receipt will include a link to the required College for Kids forms. Print and complete the Emergency Medical form and Assumption of Liability Release. Return completed forms when you attend an orientation.
Fees
Fees vary from $80 to $220 per class (not including special camps). Visa, MasterCard, Discover, Personal Check and Cash are accepted. Payment is expected at the time of registration. Enrollment is not guaranteed without full payment.
Scholarships
College for Kids Scholarships are available for those in need of financial assistance. Please click here to learn more information about the College for Kids Scholarship, the qualifications, and to access the application. Limited scholarships are provided by the ICC Educational Foundation. The scholarship amount is $50 per class with a maximum of two scholarships per child, not to exceed a $100 total. Limit of four scholarships awarded per family, not to exceed $200 total. Additional classes will be charged at full price. Club CFK and Friday Fun Trips do not qualify for scholarships. Scholarships are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis and are subject to availability of funds and verification of financial need. For additional information call 309-690-6914.

Attendance
Attendance will be taken at the start of each class period. Absences or late arrivals should be called into the CFK Homeroom at (309) 694-8880. If you arrive more than 15 minutes after class begins, you must escort your child to the homeroom. Your child will receive a pink attendance slip that will be given to the instructor. Late arrivals will not be allowed into the classroom without an attendance slip. Accurate attendance is important for the safety of our students.
Discipline Policy
Appropriate and respectful behaviors are expected while attending CFK. Students that do not uphold these expectations will be escorted to the CFK Homeroom. It will be the student’s responsibility to contact their adult caregiver to explain why they were removed from class. They will be allowed to return to class when they are able to agree to improved behavior. Continued disruptions may result in the student’s permanent dismissal from College for Kids with no refund given. Illinois Central College has a Zero Tolerance policy in that no weapons (i.e. knives, guns of any kind, etc.) are allowed on campus. Any student choosing not to abide by the rules and regulations of Illinois Central College will not be allowed to return to College for Kids. These policies help ensure the safety of our students and staff.
Schedule Changes, Refunds and Cancellations
If you need to change your class schedule after your registration is confirmed, a $10.00 processing fee will be charged. No class schedule changes may be made after the registration deadline. College for Kids reserves the right to cancel a class due to low enrollment. Students enrolled in a class that is cancelled will be offered an alternative class or the option of a full refund.
